The Rebrand
I’ve always felt closest to God when I’m at the mountains. In the last six months I’ve traveled twice to Colorado and twice to North Carolina. Changes were coming and while I didn’t know what they would be, I’ve been excited and expectant.
The decision to go back as a wedding photographer full time had been made since February and I’ve been working on a rebrand for a couple of months, in the last few weeks everything started coming together.
The new logo represents the two A’s in my name and the peaks and valleys I’ve gone through. Every great love story makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. But in order to get to the top you have to navigate some lows.
I’ve recently understood that God created marriage for his glory not for our own satisfaction and I probably love photographing them because the Bible begins and ends with a wedding. So with the rebrand comes a few changes to the team that I’m working with in this new season.
Associate Photographer – Janelle
Janelle has been my second photographer since November 2012. At this point, we have photographed hundreds of weddings together and she knows exactly what I’m looking for. This year she’s shifting into a Lead Associate Photographer role, meaning we can book two weddings on the same day and be in different places at once. She’s a pro at making women feel beautiful and finding the perfect angles after a few years of being a model for some local wedding brands. She’s also great at giving the boys a fun experience on their wedding day.
Second Photographer – Dubraska
Dubraska photographed her first wedding as a second photographer with me, January 2023. She brings a fun personality that makes people feel welcomed and beautiful from the minute they meet her. Her experience in story-telling and editorial photography is the perfect element to tell the story from a different perspective. She also loves doing engagement sessions, so she’ll be behind the camera for those a lot more.
We are a building a team of Assistant Photographers that will be with us to make a wedding day run smoothly, but also to build up into future photographers and with that you have some of the team for the 2023-2024 wedding season. Can’t wait to work with you!
