A friend of mine from church asked me to come to North Carolina and shoot a wedding with him in October of 2020. TJ, an amazing travel photographer, would focus on video and I’d focus on the photography part. If you know me, then you know I’m always down to travel and shoot a wedding outside of Florida, especially at a rustic, charming venue like the 1932 Barn, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
I road-tripped up to NC and went on a short vacation to Asheville after the wedding. I had been cooped up at home all year due to COVID and needed the getaway. On the way up, a storm was threatening to bring tornadoes into the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Luckily we were able to get some great photos for Kayla and Stephen and I’m finally sharing them all with you today.
If you are getting married or thinking of eloping outside of Florida don’t hesitate on contacting us! We love to travel!
In the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, a remarkable love story unfolded at the enchanting 1932 Barn Venue. Kayla, a vivacious flight attendant, and Stephen, a charismatic pilot, found each other amidst the challenges of a pandemic.
Their love story, a testament to perseverance, saw them meet in the middle of the pandemic’s turbulence. The 1932 Barn provided the perfect setting for their journey to take flight.
The barn echoed with joy as friends and family celebrated this resilient couple. Love was palpable in every tear, every smile, and every heartwarming speech. Amidst fairy lights and a starlit sky, Kayla and Stephen danced under the open air, a symbolic embrace of their shared journey.
As their wedding day unfolded, it was evident that their love, much like flight, knows no bounds. The 1932 Barn, with its rustic elegance, served as a backdrop to a love that soared beyond the challenges that life brought their way in 2020. A tale of unity, love, and the unbreakable spirit that brought a flight attendant and a pilot together in the midst of uncertainty.
