I’ve been totally into black and white photos lately. There’s something about them that feels so classic and documentary-like. So, Mike, a high school friend of mine, reached out back in February to share his exciting proposal plans to Caro in Disney. Not long after, he messaged me saying they were heading to the courthouse for the wedding and wanted a beach photoshoot.
As photographers, we often find ourselves educating clients, friends, potential clients, and sometimes even other vendors. I made sure to tell Mike that even a courthouse wedding deserves to be photographed. After all, it’s their story, no matter the wedding size and style. Miami’s summer heat can be brutal, especially for beach photos in wedding attire. But Mike took my advice. We snapped their courthouse wedding and grabbed some beautiful shots outside Coral Gables City Hall. Here are a few photos from their day!
