Today I am thankful for crossfit and the fact that my momma taught me how to use tools better than most handymen and even my own dad. And yes, I get my handy skills from her and my brains from him (not saying I don’t get my brains from my mom but I think I’ll stop right there).
This weekend we we’re a part of The Perfect Wedding Guide’s bridal show at the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables and I had been preparing for it for a little over a month by building a different kind of display. We wanted to have a display that mimicked a studio’s wall filled with portraits and even lighting to create a wow factor and show brides what wall portraits look like especially since most people only want digital photographs these days.
We paired up with Stella’s Flowers in sharing the booth area and having them display some of their floral creations and centerpieces which added a pop of color as well to the area and we’re a hit with a lot of the brides that approached us.
I will most likely write a blog post on how I built the walls and how much was spent later on this week for those photographer friends of mine that have asked. To all of our brides, bridesmaids, friends, and couples that stopped by our booth yesterday thank you for stopping by and filling out our contact forms and asking all those questions you asked. It was a pleasure meeting each and every one of you and we hope to meet with you all again.
We are currently also running a Bridal Show special; during the month of April if you book us you get $150 OFF any collection chosen and we will announce our Engagement Session winner on Instagram on April 15, 2016 at 3:00pm so make sure to follow us at [ arosteguiphotog ] to see if you won.
