If it weren’t for technology Keren, Patrick and I wouldn’t be where we’re at right now. Keren found me online through the power of the internet. She was located in New York doing her residency and Patrick in Philadelphia doing his fellowship and they were searching for a photographer for their wedding at the Thalatta Estate in Miami. We set up a consultation via Skype and here I am today posting a sneak peek of their wedding day.
During the initial consultation Keren mentioned she wanted a very non-traditional wedding; they were planning on doing a City Hall Ceremony in New York in the summer of 2015 and we’re really going to do just a small wedding mainly for their family in Miami. And they did… they got married in June 2015 in New York and then Keren moved to Miami to do her fellowship and Patrick moved to Boston. While wedding planning Keren was studying for her boards exam, doing her fellowship and living away from Patrick but somehow their wedding turned out to be one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve shot in a very non-traditional way.
We at first had spoken of doing a First Look before their guests arrived but to my surprise when I showed up today to shoot their wedding I found Patrick in the same room as Keren getting ready while she was getting her makeup and hair done by Sissi. Next thing I know, he’s helping her put on her shoes and she’s helping him get dressed up. They were both so laid back, relaxed, yet excited to see their wedding day and families finally come together.
Here’s a Same Day Sneak Peek of their beautiful wedding at Thalatta Estate.
